This hand-sewn journal has covers with paper that I bought in Italy.  The paper has celestial reproductions of medieval astronomy. This is the last bit of this paper that I had left.  The journal is sewn with brown linen thread and orange on the inside covers.  Text paper is a high quality rag paper. I tore the edge of each sheet creating a nice deckle edge. There are 96 pages. SIZE is smaller than other map journals and blank paper. SIZE is 4” x 5.75”
