This hand-sewn journal has a copy of an old Paris map, "Plan de Paris."  The book is sewn with black linen thread in the coptic stitch enabling it to open completely flat.   The inside cover has the same color and 112 pages inside are lined.  Size is 5.5" x 8.5"  A great gift for a traveler going to France.
