This hand-sewn journal with colorful birds on the branches gets us remembering summer and thinking ahead to spring.  It is sewn with blue linen thread in the coptic stitch which enables the book to open completely flat.  Inside 112 blank pages alternate between light blue Canson paper and white Strathmore paper. The same blue paper is on the inside covers.  Size is 4.25" x 4"; a very handy size.
