This hand-sewn journal has cork covers that are beige with flecks of gold throughout.  The cork is very smooth to the touch.  The book is sewn using the coptic stitch with matching butterscotch linen thread. This sewing style enables the book to open completely flat. Inside endpapers are marbled paper-grey, black, red and orange. Text pages are 160 blank pages of Fabriano 75lb. drawing paper-a nice chunky thickness.  SIZE is 5.5” square.
