This hand-sewn journal is covered with a Florentine paper that I bought on a trip to Florence, Italy.  It is sewn in the coptic stitch with purple and yellow linen thread that picks up the colors in the cover pattern.  The coptic stitch allows the book to open completely flat for easy use.  Inside covers are a pink covered with a transparent gold paper and there are 112 blank pages.  Size is 4" x 6".
