The front and back covers of this sketchbook journal are wrapped with Lotka paper from Nepal. The fibers for the paper come from the bark of the Lotka bush. Real ferns are actually placed on the brown paper and then put out in the sun. The color around the leaves then washes out to give us the patterns. Inside covers are dark magenta Mulberry paper and the book is sewn with a matching linen thread. Using the coptic stitch allows the book to open completely flat for your sketchbook drawing or journal writing. There are 112 blank pages of Blick Drawing Paper. SIZE is 6” x 9”.
