This hand-sewn journal has cypress and mint family (nepetella which smells like a cross between mint and oregano) on the front cover and on the back are iris and grapes. The journal is sewn in the coptic stitch with red linen thread that picks up the red color from the red circles. This stitching enables the book to open completely flat. Inside endpapers are an Italian paper. 128 blank pages of Strathmore Drawing paper are inside. SIZE is 6.75” square. Nice size for either journaling or drawing.
