This hand-sewn journal has a vintage postcard of John M. Greene Hall inset in the front cover.  This building is on the Smith College campus in Northampton, MA.  The postcard I picked up at a book fair of antique books and ephemera.  The other colors used are the Smith colors of yellow and blue (yes the cover is yellow-the photos tend toward orange but it is really yellow).  I also sewed the book with yellow linen thread in the coptic stitch.  The book runs in the landscape direction and can be used as a diary or a sketchbook.  Inside cover paper is the opposite of the outside.  Front inside is blue and back inside is yellow.  There are 112 blank pages and the size is 7.5" x 5.5".
