This is a hand-sewn journal or painter’s watercolor book. The outside covers have paper that I bought in a museum shop and inside covers are red. The book is sewn in the coptic stitch with red linen thread. This style allows the book to open completely flat. There are 96 blank pages of Strathmore Aquarius II. This cold press paper is made with a combination of cotton and synthetic fibers. It is 80 LB weight. Each page is hand torn to create deckle edges. SIZE is 5 " square. A great size to take along and paint in "plain air."
