Thin layers of flax from the end of the paper making vat dried like an old fragile book. Hiding in the pages and peeking out are music manuscript, a stamp, leaves, old text and strips of paper. The surface is decorated with a swirl of walnut ink and is mounted on corrugated cardboards. This piece is professionally framed and ready to hang. Size is 14.25" high, 16" wide and 2" deep. This piece recently came back from showing at a juried show at the Kathryn Schultz Gallery in Cambridge, MA.
