This sketchbook journal is covered with handmade paper that has orange leaves embedded in the paper. I bought the paper from a collection from Ali Manning. Ali bought this paper from a papermaker in Vermont. I sprayed the cover paper with a clear finish to protect it. I sewed the book in the coptic stitch with orange linen thread. This sewing style enables the book to open completely flat. Endpapers on the inside covers are an orange paper made by French Paper Co. 112 blank pages of Strathmore drawing paper are inside. SIZE is 7” square.
