Wall hanging made with a cyanotype photographic process. The emulsion was painted on the paper and then the pine needles were placed on top. The paper was then put out in the sun to develop. There was some bleaching with soda ash and the use of apple cider vinegar to get the variation in color. Kosher salt was added to create dot pattern. The cyanotype is mounted on a 1 and 5/8 inch birch box. Overall SIZE is 6” x 8”. Wire is mounted on the back for hanging and Dorland’s Wax Medium was used to protect the image.
