This hand-sewn journal has a gorgeous paper colored blue, green and purple with a topping of gold.  It looks like a painting of under the sea.  A good friend gave me this piece of paper and I had to immediately see how it would look on a book cover.  I sewed the book with purple linen thread in the coptic stitch.  Inside cover is a deep purple eggplant color.  The 112 text pages are blank and the journal opens completely flat.  Size is 6" square.
