This hand sewn book has beautiful blue gray stone pattern marbled paper on the covers. The paper is burnished with beeswax giving it a beautiful finish. I bought this striking paper from Chena River Marblers in Amherst, MA. I sewed the book with red linen thread in the coptic stitch. This style enables the book to open completely flat so that it is easy to draw inside. Inside covers are a light blue paper. The 112 blank pages are Strathmore drawing paper. This book can be used as a journal or a sketchbook for drawing or pen and ink. The size is landscape 7" tall x 8.25" wide.
