This hand-sewn journal has marbled paper that was designed with acupuncture needles.  The needles were placed close together on the painting comb to get the interesting fine detailed design.  I bought the paper from the great Chena River Marblers.  The book is sewn in the coptic stitch so that it opens completely flat and it is sewn with burgundy linen thread.  The inside cover is black colored paper.  112 pages are blank Strathmore drawing paper for diary or sketching.  SIZE IS POCKET-SIZED 4'“ square. I made a small one since I only had a limited amount of the cover paper.
