This hand-sewn journal is covered with purple and white marbled paper. The pattern is from a technique called over-marbling. The paint was combed in one direction, paper laid on and dried and then then the paper is turned and the paint is combed in another direction. The book is sewn in the coptic stitch with purple linen thread. This sewing style allows the book to open completely flat for entries. Inside covers are a plum colored lama li paper. There is a second variation with purple inside covers. Make a choice. There are 112 blank pages inside. Size is 4.25” x 5.5”
