The red marbled paper that covers this hand-sewn journal was purchased on my trip to Florence last summer.  The marbling has a rich and deeply warm color.  It is sewn in the coptic stitch with red linen thread.  The book opens completely flat and has 128 blank pages of Strathmore drawing paper.  Inside covers are lined with brown and gold paper and a stripe of the front marbled paper.   Size is 6" tall and 8.25" long.  It is an excellent size for a sketchbook.
